I picked up this book hoping to add to my knowledge base. Nope. This book is pure speculation and in many cases is plain wrong in its description of how the brain functions. As|About the Author|Dr. David Furr, holds degrees in special education and clinical psychology. He is a certified teacher and has taught K through 8 as well as on the college level. The method that he has discovered has brough him students from around the world.
This book teaches parents and teachers a new method of teaching reading. This method has been proven to work with all people, young and old. It also works very fast. Most students advance one grade level per 15 hours of instruction. This works with students who have never been able to read!
